X-Tend WA Program open for application


Hot off the press! If your gig is entrepreneurial or investor education, then this is for you! Up to 100k is up for grabs per each successful applicatoin,  but you better get a wiggle on as applications close 11am (AWST) Tuesday 23 April, 2019.

Without further ado, here are the deets:

On behalf of the State Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI)

The X-TEND WA Program is now open for applications. X-TEND WA is a new pilot competitive grants program, funded under the New Industries Fund, which is designed to build capability and capacity within the WA innovation community.

X-TEND WA will fund organisations which deliver innovator and/or investor educational programs that support the development of entrepreneurs and stimulate private investment in innovative projects in Western Australia.

JTSI is seeking applications which deliver activities in one or two of the following streams:

  • Entrepreneurial education
  • Investor education

They may take the form of educational forums, mentoring, and incubator and accelerator programs.

The New Industries Fund will invest up to $100,000 per successful application. Applications close 11am (AWST) Tuesday 23 April, 2019.

Proposed programs must be delivered in Western Australia and contribute towards the growth of the innovation community. Applications that strengthen innovation ecosystem collaboration and improve access to, or participation in, the Western Australian innovation community are encouraged.
